The NUS IRIS research internship is a fully funded opportunity provided by the National University of Singapore for students from all academic disciplines. What the Funding Covers
Selected participants receive a comprehensive financial package meant to cover essential living costs while in Singapore:
- Monthly stipend: SGD 1,200
- Travel allowance: SGD 600
- Free on-campus accommodation
- Official certificate from the NUS Graduate School upon completion
Who Is Eligible
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled full-time at a university in a degree-granting programme.
- Undergraduate applicants must have finished at least the first two years of their degree.
- Master's applicants must be in their first year of study.
- Maintain a minimum overall or major GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- Maintain student status at your home institution for the entire duration of the internship.

How to Apply
You should apply directly through the NUS Graduate Admission System (GDA3). When starting your application, ensure you select "Non-Degree," "Full-Time," and specify the IRIS programme. You will be prompted to provide the contact details for your two referees and indicate your preferred research areas or mentors.
