Icelandic Government Scholarships for BA 2026 Intake

The Icelandic Ministry of Culture, Innovation and Higher Education offers scholarships for international students to study Icelandic as a Second Language at the University of Iceland. The scholarship covers registration fees and provides a monthly stipend for living expenses. Recipients also have the option to rent affordable rooms at the Gamli Garður student dormitory. The program is administered by the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies.
