British Council Research Fellowships 2026

The British Council 90th Anniversary Research Fellowships 2026 are fully funded, 12-month postdoctoral fellowships hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) at the University of Edinburgh. These fellowships are for early-career researchers from ODA-recipient countries where the British Council operates and focus on research related to arts, education, English, or cross-cultural understanding, with a goal of supporting peace, prosperity, and public diplomacy. The fellowship includes a £2,500 monthly bursary, travel support, accommodation guidance, library access, and academic mentorship.
